Prior to joining Parallel, Mr. Evan was responsible for structuring complex financing transactions for multinational corporations and financial institutions in the Structured Finance group at Babcock & Brown. More recently, Mr. Evan was responsible for the specialty finance business and overseeing a real estate asset management joint venture.
Prior to Babcock & Brown, Mr. Evan was at Morgan Stanley for 8 years, the last 4 years as Executive Director and Head of European Tax in London (a 20 person department), where he was responsible for all European tax issues, including the firm’s tax compliance and planning, business unit coverage and structured transactions for the firm. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Evan was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a New York law firm.
Mr. Evan graduated from the Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, and received an MBA-JD from Columbia University.
